Ahead of our club championships next weekend (24th Nov), please note the following important details:
The event will start at 6:00pm, so please arrive at Basingstoke Aquadrome in plenty of time. Spectator admission will be £2.50 for adults and free for children. Click here to see the event programme. Please print and bring your own copy of the programme if required (printed copies of the programme will not be available on the night).
For those who haven’t competed before, in addition to swim hat and goggles, swimmers should bring a drink bottle and a club top or other t-shirt onto poolside to wear between races. Space will be limited, so swimmers should not bring their bags onto poolside.
Good luck to all the swimmers ……

Here are the results: Masters South East Short Course (06/10/2018)
All swimming club sessions will continue to run as normal through the autumn half term.
We have an extra session available to all swimmers on Saturday 29th September at Basingstoke Aquadrome.

Our head coach Emily Herbert has decided to step down from the role due to other commitments. Emily will still remain involved with the club both as a swimmer and as a teacher/coach for some of the regular sessions.
Control of the teaching & coaching within the club will be taken forward by two of our existing teachers, Dani Dewey and Dave Gregory. Both have been involved with the club for many years in various capacities and both are competitive swimmers themselves.
We’d like to say thanks to Emily for helping the club through challenging times as we’ve settled into the temporary pool since last Autumn, and we hope you’ll make Dani and Dave feel welcome as they take on their new roles.
We’re now on a two week break and will return to training from Friday 7th September onward. Hope you all enjoy the break…….
We’re taking a couple of short breaks from swimming, one at the start of the summer and another at the end. The dates are shown below, and also on the attached calendar. During these breaks there will be no swimming club sessions. At all other times, all normal club sessions will continue.
First break: Monday 16th July to Sunday 29th July inclusive.
Second break: Friday 24th August to Thursday 6th September inclusive.

ASWPC Master, Margaret Smith, took part in the Postal Swim this evening. Getting nervously into the pool on her 26th year, Margaret hoped to swim 80+ lengths. After keeping a steady pace, Margaret beat her own record and ended her swim on the 95th length.
Well done Margaret on your impress achievement – 95 lengths/2375m!
