Fundraising for ASWPC

A gentle reminder for everyone that does internet shopping in the run up to Christmas, there’s a no cost way to you of raising funds for our club.

Andover Swimming and Water Polo Club receives a free donation every time you buy anything online with the UK’s leading online fundraising service, Easyfundraising.

With over 3.2 thousand shops and sites on board including Amazon, eBay, John Lewis, Sainsbury’s, Virgin Trains and Aviva, ASWPC can get donations on everything from your weekly shop to your annual holiday and it doesn’t cost you a penny extra!

It’s really simple, all you have to do is:

  1. Go to Andover Swimming and Water Polo Club as your Cause and join for free
  2. Every time you want to shop go to easyfundraising, find the site you want and start shopping
  3. When you check out Andover Swimming and Waterpolo Club gets a donation for no extra cost whatsoever!

The shops and sites give easyfundraising a percentage of what you spend and they turn that into a donation, it’s that easy. There’s no catch or hidden charges and Andover Swimming and Waterpolo Club will be really grateful for your donations.

Thank you for your support.

A new Head Coach for ASWPC

They say that when good news starts it can often flow … well, after the announcement of our new programme in the temporary pool from 30th October, some even better news …  Emily Herbert, a young lady from Newbury now living in Andover has agreed to be our new Head Coach, this is fantastic news!

Emily is passionate about swimming, not only through coaching at Newbury Swimming Club but also a keen swimmer too.  A qualified level 2 swim teacher as well as achieving level 3 sports massage so no excuses from anyone now!  Emily also has a degree in sports coaching so has ideal credentials.

This is genuinely very exciting with the future of this Club far more positive.  Emily, it is great to have you as a member of this Club, Congratulations and we all wish you the very best.

Emily’s first session will be Friday 3rd November with her proper start date from 20th November 2017.
